It uses MOM5.1 with 0.25\u00b0 lateral resolution at the Equator, tripolar in the north and Mercator projection down to 65\u00b0S, with 50 vertical levels. The sea ice is SIS, coupled with the FMS coupler. The model can be forced using either CORE or JRA forcing sets. The model configuration is publicly accessible as one of the test cases at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mom-ocean.science\/web\">mom-ocean.science<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The model has been used in a wide range perturbation experiments and publications. We have several equilibrated control states and a wide range of wind, fresh water, SSS restoring, parameter space sensitivity simulations.
